Kaspersky’s paid antivirus software is superior. Better than the stuff we make. I didn't re-up my subscription, so not using it now; however, it is a motherfucking impressive piece of software. If some gap-tooth 17-year-old Chinese, Swedish, or Siberian hacker invented and loaded a virus by 3 AM locally, Kaspersky had its signature, had identified its root code, and had installed a lockbox around it on your computer by 4 AM.
The US government reaction to it is another case of the US shooting itself in the foot.
Most people only need email and web surfing protection (online banking) so the freebie is perfect for them.
Kaspersky is the best. I have been using it exclusively for years now. What I like best is that not only is it a superior product but it doesn't lock you out of your own computer like Norton does. Norton drove me nuts.
