As I said, someone is lying. This is not "the fog of war."
Everyone agrees that the Russian air defense system was not engaged since the missiles did not threaten the Russian area. Only Syrian AD was involved and they don't even have S-300's.
Russia is reportedly "mulling" supplying Syria with S-300's.
They probably didn’t lose much if any in those sales opportunities for the S-400s to Turkey and Iran and China as they didn’t use it so no bad reports can be made.... those deals are probably still pretty solid for them....
