The ‘See-No-Evil’ Phase of Russiagate — Patrick Lawrence

If you recall, we were out front in questioning this hoax from the get-go. Patrick Lawrence sums up the travesty.

The sad reality is that while the Democrats had plenty of ammunition to attack candidate and then president Trump based on policy and character, too, if they wanted, they chose to concoct a bogus account of how they had managed to loss an election in which they were heavily favored.

First, the impeachment scheme failed, and now their plot has been outed. What a bunch of losers.

I say this as a longtime critic of Donald Trump and an even longer critic of the GOP.

Oh, and did I mention that I started out as a Republic that grew up in a Republican family.

Actually, I began to distrust the Democratic Party, too, owing to the Vietnam fiasco. That became bipartisan and intensified when Nixon became president.

I don't like to focus on politics here. I reported on this from the outset for two reasons, first, in opposition to a "soft" coup, and secondly, owing to the politicization of intelligence and the suborning of the intelligence services. This was more than a political attack. It was an attack on representative democracy, such as it is.

The worst part of this whole sorry matter is that now the divisiveness is growing to the degree that the civil war that did not actually end at the end of the Civil War is becoming a national and international threat.

Where was the perjury trap in lying to the vice president? Trump fired him for this.

Also,

"The sad reality is that while the Democrats had plenty of ammunition."

The reality is that Flynn as the acting national security advisor to the United States was a paid Turkish agent. Flynn should have easily been given 20 years to life, that opportunistic piece of shit.

I have more to say but really got to take the dog for a walk -- he's getting restless :(

It really was and depending on how egregious the evidence becomes imo I'd like to see them all tried for capital crimes.... if the evidence is really bad...

Like if the audits document them taking down conference calls of Kellyanne with the national campaign directors at the Tower or something like that I for one would like to seem them all be looking at the needle...

We have to see how bad it really is....

Matt, who else was taking money from the Turkish government to serve Turkey's interests while employed in the US government, acting or official capacity?

"We have to see how bad it really is...."

Indeed, spying is a capital crime (if not, it should be; is it in the US? -- please don't make me look it up :( )

Did not actually end? The American Civil War?

The last major battle was the Battle of Appomattox (one hell of a cool sounding name!) in April of 1865. OK, OK -- if we're going to be pedantic, then the Battle of Palmito Ranch on the banks of the Rio Grande (another cool name!) a month later. So... what other major (or small) battles in the last 150 years or so have taken place that I'm not aware of :(

Yo they are a NATO member ie a key ally.. ... so is Greece...

He was under the advice of counsel at Covington the whole time...

And Flynn might not even be the big issue...

you have to look at the audits of the actual surveillance system queries...

See who they were copying and what they were copying...

If it was Kellyanne or someone like that they all gotta be looking at the needle..

Matt, Flynn sold his (and yours, btw) country out. For what? For a few hundred thousand dollars.

There's a youtube video of Flynn bragging how the coup against Erdogan was a good outcome for the United States. What a remember most about that video was the Turkish comments by the Turks that followed -- saying that Erdogan should simply buy him out. LOL.. easier done than said! (No, I don't read Turkish: "Copy -- Google translate -- Paste -- English dammit!" See, me resourceful ;) )

"Yo they are a NATO member ie a key ally.. ... so is Greece... "

What?! Don't get me started.... Btw, the only reason the Turks were fishing for the Russian S-400 missile system was for use against that "key NATO member Greece." When that fool Trump was praising Greece for spending more than 2% of their GDP on the military, the fool had probably no idea it was meant against that "NATO member and key US ally Turkey." (probably wouldn't have cared anyways) If Greeks cut military spending, most of the Aegean and Greek islands, let alone Cyprus, are stolen.

We probably have people crawling all over that S400 system... please...

Russia probably doesnt even care... probably think their defense contractors needed the munnie...

Cold War context you guys probably had more commies in Greece than Turkey probably why your ancestors left Greece for North America...

Greece was a commie fest in the Cold War...

Not clear how Turkey is going to go today in new context... GWOT may be over...

May be going to new MAJOR cold war with Chyna...

We dont care sorry... we give no f_cks at all about any of that... could care less what those losers do...

Recommend if it goes to new Cold War with China you guys side with us.... if Turkey sides with China and you guys side with us youll be in like flint...

In 80s when all the Arab terrorist proxies allied with Soviet commies wanted to hijack a western aircraft all they had to do was buy a ticket out of Athens...

The whole place was a POS commie fest somewhat still is...

I deleted my comment because, on reflection, I thought it was a bit too harsh on Matt, especially when I added that Jonathan Swift quote at end on reasoning.

What can I say, I have consideration for people's feelings ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
