Not buying it, because the evidence prior to the hard crack down on media in Xinjiang, about a decade ago, was already so strong on Chinese abuses. There is an easy way to dispel all the doubt -- just give foreign journalists free access to all part of Xinjiang, and freedom to interview the local people. Unless that is done, one really has to assume that the difficult reporting we receive is true, and that it is the Chinese Government which is lying.
China has admitted to running education/training centers for an ethnic group. That is damning in itself.
