Pretty much what I have been saying and could not say better.

Trump was a symptom of what is already known by the electorate. The only real problem he had with the establishment was his vulgarity. We owe that clown nothing. He wasted 4 years failing to address issues that are existential.

Trump wasn’t America first, that’s a lie, Trump was TRUMP first.......which he, like the old GM CEO, felt was exactly the same thing. His transactional nature was a hinderance as well since EVERY transaction had to be approved by him..... a guy who couldn’t take the time to learn even the basic facts about who he was transacting with. I actually agree with the idea that having a somewhat transactional relationship with other entities can be a good thing because it opens the possibility of non zero sum solutions where both sides feel they have won something. The problem with Trump is he is a person that no one outside his ignorant base actually trusts to hold up his end of any bargain. He’s pathologically dishonest. Even much of his base knows he’s dishonest, I can’t count the number of political ads here in Ohio the last month that essentially were saying “Yes, Trump is a dishonest asshole, we’ve all seen that, but he loves America more than Joe Biden”. As if that kind of thing can be honestly/reliably measured.
