FT: Opec members seek emergency meeting after price collapse

"Almost half the members of cartel have in the past few days called on the group to act to halt the slide before their next official meeting scheduled to take place in Algeria in late December."

With no energy policy in place oil prices will go right back up once the global economy gets back on track. Until then, OPEC will put a floor under prices at current levels.
