Maybe freezing central bank assets and sanctioning payments wasn't such a good ideal after all. Actually, the politician did this all by themsevles even though expert opinion differed at the time. Now the reason for the reservations are becoming clear as trust in the Western "rules-based order" is breaking down as countries realize that the system in being weaponed against the ROW.
