2. The Euro periphery suffered a BoP crisis in 2010. EM recovers from such crises by devaluing. Only way the periphery can devalue is by deregulating markets & cutting wages. No new ECB anti-fragmentation tool can fix this,

Japan's Yen (blue) fell a lot recently, but now is not the time to be short the Yen. Global recession is coming & EM currencies are falling. Both things cause Japanese retail investors to retrench & seek the safety of home. Yen short positioning has started cutting back (black).
I repeat Yen shorts are cutting back.
