In 1988, John and Tony Podesta formed the Podesta Group and have used their bigwig party-insider status to lobby and influence government policies — while, at various times, simultaneously holding positions of power — which has created a number of glaring conflicts of interest.Free Thought Project
According to the March 2016 filing made in accordance with the Foreign Agents Registration Act of 1938, Tony Podesta is an active foreign agent of the Saudi government with the “Center for Studies and Media Affairs at the Saudi Royal Court,” and acts as an officer of the Saudi Arabia account.
I have written for quite some time that Saudi Arabia and Qatar are funding ISIS. Glad to see that John Podesta informed Hillary of this fact back in 2014. Here’s a portion of that email:While this military/para-military operation is moving forward, we need to use our diplomatic and more traditional intelligence assets to bring pressure on the governments of Qatar and Saudi Arabia, which are providing clandestine financial and logistic support to ISIL and other radical Sunni groups in the region. This effort will be enhanced by the stepped up commitment in the KRG. The Qataris and Saudis will be put in a position of balancing policy between their ongoing competition to dominate the Sunni world and the consequences of serious U.S. pressure. By the same token, the threat of similar, realistic U.S. operations will serve to assist moderate forces in Libya, Lebanon, and even Jordan, where insurgents are increasingly fascinated by the ISIL success in Iraq.If you read the entire email you will discern that there is a recommendation to “put pressure” on Saudi Arabia and Qatar using diplomatic and intelligence channels. But nothing concrete is proposed. The solution to Saudi Arabia and Qatar is very simple–work with Russia and China and pass a UN Security Council resolution that imposes sanctions on any country that provides any kind of support to ISIS. Very simple.
Why does Hillary not want to do that? Also very simple. The Saudis and the Qataris have pumped millions of dollars into the Clinton Foundation. This is the ultimate pay for play.…No Quarter
Karma hits fast. Just one day after Hilary Clinton upped the ante by officially blaming Russia for the DNC hack, and publicly saying that Donald Trump is in Putin’s pocket, news breaks today that Hillary’s campaign chairman John Podesta sat on the board of a Russian energy company that received $35 million in venture funding from a “Putin-connected” fund.
Best part of it all… John Podesta somehow failed to fully disclose his participation and compensation on his federal financial disclosures, as is required by US law.
Hillary’s latest hypocrisy is one of the many revelations from a 56-page report released late Sunday titled “From Russia with Money: Hillary Clinton, the Russian Reset, and Cronyism”by the non-partisan government watchdog group, the Government Accountability Institute (GAI).…
…for Hillary progressive liberals, when Trump even mentions the word “Russia”, he is a Putin patsy. When Hillary, and high ranking members of her team, are doing business in Russia, sitting on the board of Russian companies, which are tied to government investments…well that’s perfectly acceptable.…
