How a conspiracy theory works

In concluding his reporting on the last conspiracy theory (fun read), Fitzer says, "Fortunately, unlike the ramblings of Nostradamus, the accuracy of Pamela Schuffert’s prediction of NATO tyranny is easily tested. If we don’t have NATO martial law by four weeks from today, we will know for certain that Schuffert has no genuine inside sources in the FBI or in secret offices in Belgium."

Not really. The alleged author of the conspiracy theory will just claim that her blowing the whistle just postponed it for a while. — But it's coming. Like that hyperinflation thing we've all been waiting for.
