One Man’s Misguided Quest to Reduce the "National Debt"

commentary by Roger Erickson

Read it and Weep For Your Country

This is about enough to make one scream in frustration - and then weep over the misguided injustice.

And Tim Geithner isn't human enough to tell these people that we don't need to get their fiat currency back?

Are there no morals whatsoever left in this country?

What's left? Self-flagellation and penance - but only by the poorest of the poor? Ritual blood-letting?

The US Treasury has a place where you can make direct contributions right here:

https://www.pay.gov/paygov/forms/formInstance.html?agencyFormId=23779454

Now here is a joke... but you have to possess Mathematical Maturity to be able to get it:

You can use your credit card!.... get it?????? LOL!

They should open up stores at the mall where everyone can chip in. They missed a big thing at Xmas. O well, maybe next season.

Call me a cynic but

"a table outside, with T-shirts"

"He owns a limousine company, A T-SHIRT business and hosts a local TV show"

Do all the profits from these t-shirt sales go back to the government?

Saddest part is the reporter's review of people all over the country who have donated or even left their wills to help poor old Uncle Sam repay his fiat.

What would John Adams think, to see USA citizens volunteering to indenture themselves to someone else's fiat? As Pete M. Hillbilly would say: "That don't make NO sense."
