More people want congressional Republicans, and not President Barack Obama, to have more say over the nation’s direction in the coming year, according to a Gallup poll released Tuesday.
Republicans swept the midterm elections last week, gaining control of the U.S. Senate for the firsr time in eight years and boosting their House of Representatives majority.
Fifty-three percent in the Nov. 6 to 9 Gallup survey want to see more Republican influence, compared to 36 percent who prefer Obama’s clout.GOP called on to govern.

Well I just look at him as a golfer...
Last week, some Democrat friends of mine active in local politics were busting their assess working into the evenings with get out the vote stuff and O was in the news BSing back and forth with Michael Jordan (another bazillionaire) about who was the better golfer...
you cant keep the swing voters in the socio-economic justice cohort while playing as much golf as Obama does... imo he is mailing it in these days he should just retire and turn it over to Biden...
So this has swung over to the GOP narrowly (53% now so still close as usual) so the ball is in the GOP court having been fumbled away by Obama...
So GOP has to at least still provide effective lip service to the socio-economic justice cohort... someone prominent slipping up with a Romney like "47%.." type comment would probably put it right back to a toss up...
