The sanctions are economic warfare to squeeze the Russian leadership into folding, or the state to fail, resulting in regime change.

This is the preferred solution to a military one, the outcome of which is uncertain when dealing with a nuclear peer.

In the case of Russia is it delusional wishful thinking. The Russian leadership is not going to fold, regime change is not going to happen and if it were to, the direction would be the opposite of that desired by the US leadership, and the Russian state is not going to collapse like the USSR did. Russians have been though that and learned their lesson.

They also learned not to trust the Anglo-Americans, whose goal is the same has the goal of the Brits has been for hundreds of years, that is, to keep Germany and Russia down.

Russia is the biggest country in the world but only has a tiny population. It would be nice for Russians if it could stay like that, but sadly, the US has surrounded it by enemies with massive armies. Because of its small population Russia only has a small army, so Putin is offering families a lot of money to have more children.

Through corruption the US has turned the World into vassals. The Eastern European politicians thought they could get rich joining the West, and by grabbing the privatised industries. This means the US is becoming a monopoly and the richer it gets the more it can control the media and the more it can corrupt. If the US defeats Russia and China, it's elite could rule indefinitely becoming the self perpetuating rich getting even more rich in their sleep.

It seems that societies always collapse in the end because some companies get too big which wipes out the smaller companies and then the middle classes disappear. And yet the elite do this with the support of the middle-classes because they feed them propaganda through all the media the elite own.

How can we fight against people who have so much money - most of it stolen from the rest of the world. The elite have so much control they even have the Guardian putting out their propaganda, while the small independent news media that remains they are trying to close down.

People in the West are shielded from war; we see no images on our screens of the suffering it causes to our troops or to victims in other countries. Western people are not forced to fight in wars and now mercenaries see used, so its football and beer and everything is okay.

If only the public knew want we know, but instead we called conspiracy theorists? The West as the 'good guys' is a scam. I've been watching Ryan Dawson videos on YouTube and it's an eye opener. He isn't right about everything, but he raises some good points.

“economic warfare to squeeze the Russian leadership into folding”

Well why did the Obama people think it would work then?

Has to be “supply and demand!” type or “equilibrium” type thinking...

Iow Democrats think we are in some sort of equilibrium conditions where “supply meets demand!” So with the sanctions Obama people thought if they acted to curtail “supply!” then the “demand!” Would stay constant and be unfulfilled and create permanent shortages to cause political unrest...

Trump never would have done it...

Democrats (left) are not material systems competent...

Andrew Anderson said...

While Biblically ignorant/dismissive Christians are not morally or even ethically systems competent?

And let's not talk even material systems competence when the current economic system (government privileged private debt for usury creation), citing just one example, was a major cause of massive destruction and loss of life in World War II. Who could have guessed that a system that cheats and oppresses (moral and ethical failure) could lead to lead to such material misery as the Great Depression and World War II? ans: A student of the Old Testament for one.
