Trump is only persuasive to people with an IQ under 70.

Hate to break the news to you but even if that were true if that gets him the votes he needs he wins...

Trump stopped in Arizona for two reasons. First, Arizona is one of the most pro-Trump states in the USA, and Mesa (pop. 500k) is by far the most pro-Trump city in Arizona. So Trump went to Mesa to be worshipped. People started showing up at the venue six hours before Trump started speaking. About 45,000 Arizonans went, but there was space for only 4,000.

Second, Trump went there to stump for Senate candidate Martha McSally, an ultra-neoliberal Republican whose claim to notoriety is that she was the USA’s first female fighter pilot in 1992. [She flew an A-10.] Her opponent for the US Senate seat is Kyrsten Sinema, Democrat.

All nine of Arizona’s US House seats are up for grabs on 6 Nov 2018, plus the governorship, plus both US Senate seats.
