The Grayzone's Anya Parampil debunks Bolivian coup myths in Al Jazeera rant

Yeah, it's a coup, the events pretty much fit the literal definition of a coup.
Maybe someone with more knowledge of the topic can help, but it seems like Morales probably shouldn't have run again. It sure looks like the Mugabe syndrome, a national hero won't let go of power.

The voters voted for term limits and then Morales got the court to let him run again. On the face of it, it sounds fishy.

He's done so much good for the country, why not let a successor continue it?

I'm sure Pepe Escobar will provide a post mortem, and I'll put it up when I see it, as well as any other comparable analysis I run across.

Anyway, the situation is still developing.

Thank god for Pepe, or we'd all be in the dark.
