Tom says they've abandoned social democracy and embraced neoliberalism. Surely he wasn't being overly dramatic?

It says a lot in the video how Sweden has embraced neoliberal ideas, but I've read how this has hampered Sweden's economy.

The usual criticism is that social democracy hampers an economy. This video has some of that in it. Until their unions are crushed, don't expect Sweden to follow the US down the drain.
