This will not go over well - thousands of people signed up for the Territorial Defence precisely so they could stay near their families & wouldn't get mobilized to the frontlines.

Ukraine Parliament greenlights deploying Territorial Defense Units in war zones.

Ukraine’s parliament voted to allow Territorial Defense Units to fight outside their assigned regions.

In short Western Ukrainians can no longer treat this war as a call of duty computer game. They are going to start getting sent home in body bags. Expect an influx of refugees over the Polish border as they have a change of heart and run. Instead of cheering when those in the East did that they hate anyway.

Just as Russia starts to ramp things up. Multiple Russian cruise missile strikes on infrastructure targets across Ukraine tonight, parts of Lviv without power. Likely the biggest barrage since the beginning of the war. Missles have hit just about all of central and Western Ukraine tonight.

Diesel engines are supposed to be flexible in the type of fuel they burn.

Unlike fussy gasoline engines.
