If you don't recognize the names Paul Krassner, Jerry Rubin, and Abbie Hoffman, you can pass on it.

Laura Tyson and Anu Madgavkar — The Great Income Stagnation

Nicole Flatow — The Most Outrageous Police Tactics In Ferguson

This is pretty consistent with the tactics used against protestors in the anti-war movement in the Seventies, although some of the technology is different and the police were not a militarized as they are now. And this was against predominantly white affluent people or their children in the nation's capital. In some ways it was worse in DC than in Ferguson with respect to violation of civil rights and constitutional liberties, and it was on a far larger scale, with hundreds of thousands or protestors involved and battalions of police and military.

John Kerry — hypocrite

"We are particularly alarmed by reports that the Venezuelan government has arrested or detained scores of anti-government protesters and issued an arrest warrant for opposition leader Leopoldo Lopez," Kerry said in a statement. "These actions have a chilling effect on citizens' rights to express their grievances peacefully" — US Secretary of State John Kerry.

After the brutal suppression of Occupy across the United States apparently coordinated by the Department of Homeland Security, the United States government has lost all credibility and moral authority to criticize other countries as long as fascism rules in the United States. There is no indication that anything has changed, and further revelations since then led to the conclusion that matters are worse than imagined.

Chris Hedges — Criminalizing Dissent

The very name of the law itself—the Homeland Battlefield Bill—suggests the totalitarian credo of endless war waged against enemies within “the homeland” as well as those abroad.

What is taking place now as the no so hidden agenda is massive intimidation of those who would effectively express dissent against the ruling elite and the government they control through state capture.
