Unlearning Economics — Reconsidering the Labour Theory of Value

Prediction: we are going to be hearing a lot about the LTV updated.

See Matias Vernengo, Sraffa and Marxism or the Labor Theory of Value, what is it good for? See also Peter Cooper, Melting Some Marx Into MMT and An Introduction to Marx's Theory of Value With Multiple Sectors

Unlearning Economics discusses the basic and debunks some myths. Good place to start and then consider contemporary understandings. Marx is getting back in the game.

God!

UnlearningEcon, whether a bloke or a sheila, must be either incredibly patient, or unreasonably optimist.

I foresee a deluge of irritating, uninformed, and, to put it bluntly, puerile comments to this post. And that just from the ordinary, mostly reasonable folks, who will post on a knee-jerk reaction.

That's not even the shadow of he/she will get if the post catches the ear of the charlatans from the pseudo-intellectual "progressives" or the Austerians...

I agree Magpie.I sure hope he or she that i assume is a young student, and a very thoughtful interesting blogger don´t get spammed by vicouis fanatics.
First he/she had a real good take on Friedman´s work, and he still have some real fanatic followers, and LTV sure attract a whole bunch of pro/con
emotional debaters not always with much insights about the topic, but eager to debate it in a not so friendly way.
