Just days after NATO declared “cyberspace” a formal military zone, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg warned that major cyber attacks might now be classified as a “case for the alliance” which NATO as a whole would respond to militarily, with conventional warfare.
Though Stoltenberg insisted doing so would depend heavily on the severity of the attacks, he said to establishment of cyberspace as a military zone meant NATO would react to attacks there the same as attacks in air, sea, land, or space.
In theory, this would mean that NATO member nations could invoke Article 4 of the alliance, obliging meetings to discuss mutual military defense if a member nation is “attacked,” simply on the grounds of them being hacked.
Of particular concern in the case of cyberattacks is how rarely it is readily apparent who the culprit it. The US tends to blame China or Russia in the media for cyberattacks against American targets, but rarely offers any evidence to defend those assertions….The crazy escalates.

This is past absurd.

There never was a cease-fire on terrorists. The US is fighting ISIS in Syria as are the Russians and Syrian armed forces.
The US is claiming that the folks it is backing in Aleppo are not terrorists but "moderates." Russia has called BS on that since they are continuing to fight in spite of the cease fire.
To understand the situation in Syria, it's necessary to understand that the US committed to the removal of the secular Assad regime and replacing it with a Wahhabi government friendly and controlled by Saudi Arabia.
Al Qaeda you say? The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
As usual the US backing slime balls it figures it can control while calling them freedom fighters spreading democracy and peace.
You say tomato, I say potato. There never was a ceasefire because there were no moderates.
