An economics, investment, trading and policy blog with a focus on Modern Monetary Theory (MMT). We seek the truth, avoid the mainstream and are virulently anti-neoliberalism.
Woolsey is possibly the craziest guy in Washington, and therefore perfect in Bill Clinton's administration. Why does Trump want to have anything to do with him? It'll only get acrimonious: Woolsey is more thin-skinned than Trump. Woolsey is loony tunes and is an advocate of permanent war.
If it's true that Trump has fired Woolsey, that's cause for celebration. If, however, Trump seriously wants to break away from Woolsey-style thinking and policy, why then has he surrounded himself with similar people to Woolsey?

"Woolsey, you're fired!"
Expect more of that to come in the next few months.
