Wikileaks published how they go around Blockchain
how is blockchain supposed to protect against denial of service?
blockchain mearly ensures data integrity.
ddos does not aim to temper with data. it brings systems to it's knees by overtaxing them. sure, if you have a distributed system there are redundancy and less bottlenecks, but that doesn't require blockchain. blockchain increases your requirements, i.e: ddos would just throw faulty transactions at it on which it would have to do integrity checks.
