US forces trying to cut these USD zombies off from their source.
I've never seen zombies defeated this way, normally it takes a direct head shot and eventual development of a vaccine.
We'll have to see how this new strategy does...
Afghan and U.S. operations against Taliban sources of revenue have set the Taliban back approximately $11 million since Nov. 19. “In the face of this pressure, the Taliban cannot win,” Gen. Nicholson said. #AFGStrong #ForAFGhttps://t.co/raEVDH4Ngu pic.twitter.com/xHoN962m76

The way a weaker force wins is by not being defeated so that cannot keep coming back.
Overtime, the stronger force concludes that the attempt to win is not worth the cost.
The Islamist know this and Osama bin Laden said it. In fact, he said that the strategy is to keep the US busy at the periphery in costly conflicts that it cannot win while also keeping up the threat of attack in Atlanticist countries while occasionally hitting the US and UK to keep the pressure on.
This is tribal warfare and it is endless. It goes on across generations for centuries and even millennia.
I know Tom seems like a stretch..... like I said seems like only a direct head shot can work..... at least in zombie lore....
seems like only a direct head shot can work
That requires a battlefield or at least some concentration of forces or leadership.
But the problem with warring with tribes is that it's fighting a many-headed hydra. Cut off one head and another one pops up, or ten.
The US has been trying head-shots from the outset. This approach took down the Taliban government, Saddam and his government, Qaddafi and his government but it didn't result in anything like victory. Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya are still sinkholes, with no end in sight.
You have to kill them all .... I don’t think we are up for it..
If 9/11 didn’t do it then I don’t know what will...
iow it is said "Afghanistan is the graveyard of empires..." yada yada etc...
If you simply would kill the entire population, you couldnt say that...
We have historic BC examples, Carthage, Judea, etc...
Yet we dont do it...
If you simply would kill the entire population, you couldnt say that...
Fortunately, the US hasn't descended to that level yet.
And it's a war crime.
