I got this cartoon in my head where it's day one of the country and the govt needs money so they try to collect taxes in usd, which obviously isn't working very well. So they try borrowing, but the bond sale obviously fails... So someone suggests creating some money but Ron Paul's great-great-great-great-grandfather freaks out about the infinite rate of inflation that would occur.
