It's terrifying, really, It's as spooky as the Invasion of the Body Snatchers where everyone is mind controlled. We're on Warp 9 to self destruct, and the media is having fun with it.
She seems to be tough enough to take them on. But they can be viscous and they are grinding Jeremy Cornyn down. The mighty George Galloway can take them all on, though, and he even went to Congress and took them all on. Fearless!
Both Tulsi Gabbbard and Jeremy Corbyn need backing, but they only have their supporters, no heavyweights in the establishment. On YouTube, though, I have noticed many conservatives saying they would vote for her.
Caitlin Johnstone mentions a “Morning Joe” segment, so I watched its first ten minutes. The segment begins with an excerpt from Trump’s State of the Union Address. Thank goodness for the mute button.
Tulsi Gabbard starts by calling North Korea a “threat." She cites the false missile alert of 13 Jan 2018 as “evidence” of this “threat.” Of course there were no missiles, and no threat. Gabbard says that because of this fake “threat” from North Korea, there is a risk of nuclear catastrophe.
Ouch. The risk is from US aggression.
Then Gabbard claims that if the USA withdraws from Iraq too quickly, Turkey (a NATO ally) will slaughter all Kurds in Syria, who she calls “Our most effective fighting force against ISIS™ in Syria.”
Ouch. ISIS ™ consists of US-armed and funded terrorist mercenaries. Their principle foe is the Russian and Syrian governments. The reason why Turkey is not happy with the US occupation is that the US wants to break off the eastern third of Syria (which has most of Syria’s oil) and make it into a US and Israel-allied nation called Rojava, aka Israel 2.0.
Now I’m only 3 ½ minutes into the “Morning Joe” video.
Next Gabbard says that US forces are in Syria to “defeat ISIS.”™ (Meanwhile the UK and Canadian governments are welcoming ISIS™ immigrants and giving them free housing.) She says the USA’s eight-year-long regime change operation in Syria was not about regime change.
At 6 ½ minutes Scarborough claims that Assad uses “weapons of mass destruction” against his own people. Gabbard says it’s possible that Assad “gasses his own people,” but Assad’s enemies also uses gas.
“Do you think Assad is a good person?”
Gabbard: No I don’t.
At that point (ten minutes) the video was too insulting to continue with, and I bailed.
Back to Caitlin Johnstone, she says the narrative control war keeps getting hotter and hotter. On that we agree.
Agreed, Gabbard has some good leanings but has consumed far too much neoliberal KoolAid.
Even so she scare the bejeesus out the the MIC, who would undoubtedly get pretty much everything they wanted if she was elected. And not just because the White House is a puppet theater.
