Breakingviews - Review: MMT lives up to some of its promises — Edward Hadas

Generally favorable review of about to be released, The Deficit Myth by Stephanie Kelton.

Strategically, I am good with "generally favorable" reviews with qualification. Effusively positive reviews would likely get a similar reaction to negative rants. I would say that "balanced" reviews like this will help sales and that will help to get the word out there as well as influence "influencers."

"as well as influence "influencers."

Doesnt work that way... current people dispensing the recognized Thesis that has primacy will just keep advocating for their own Thesis vs the MMT anti-thesis...

There is no "influence!" in this methodology... only eventual synthesis but that doesnt come until the current proponents of the competing Theses are dead and physically gone from the scene...

there is never a current corrective adjustment made by any of these people ... both sides are not trained to do that... ie morons on both sides...

Learning MMT is only useful for "big picture" thinkers.

Some of these people will support MMT only if they haven’t previously supported a competing Thesis...

How is MMT support among The Young And The Restless?
