Those who are insisting that it is their right to go about as they please without a mask or any precaution are demonstrating their complete lack of social responsibility. Their behavior affects other people, and they most certainly have no more right to infect others than they do to go around with a gun shooting people. No one has a Constitutional right to infect other people.

I have nothing to fear from this virus. If I were in a vulnerable age group and living in a nursing home, then there would be a risk. But in that case I'd be likely to die soon anyway.

People tend to change the perspective of death when it becomes a reality, especially if the process involves suffering.
Ending up in a nursing home means I failed to take matters into my own hands. The state of palliative care - for ordinary people - guarantees suffering. What else should we expect from a profit-minded, death denying culture?
Yes palliative care has zero status in our society.
