Biden's been on the record repeatedly wanting to cut social security and medicare. Obama actually did try to cut it, he told us to "eat our peas", but we were saved by the republicans pigheadedness of demanding even more.
Republicans like being in power and want to stay there. I'm not sure they could stay in power if they cut social security.. Admittedly, it's not clear, since the youth don't vote for Republicans anyways and the Republicans are smart enough to not cut benefits for current, or soon to be, recipients. If they were to do that, they'd be out of power for a long time.

Trump is well on the record he will not allow cuts to social security...
Trump is also on the record for wanting to cut entitlements and he's submitted budgets that cut medicare. Soooo, you never know.
