The most important political event this week will not be the upcoming GOP debate but Donald Trump’s expected visit with striking UAW workers as the walkout expands to other states. In that one appearance, Trump demonstrates one of the most critical parts of political change, the emergence of the populist right.…
Once hostile to unions, Republicans like Florida’s Senator Marco Rubio, Ohio’s JD Vance and Missouri’s Josh Hawley have all pledged support to the strikers. Union-affiliated Democrats may find this “laughable,” but perhaps not so amusing on election day. Certainly, Biden is doing his best to expand his working-class base.
The rest of the article is about how workers have been disadvantaged by Democratic economic policy. This began in the Clinton administration when Bill Clinton followed Dick Morris's advice to "triangulate," which meant essentially shifting the focus of the Democratic Party away from the New Deal, with its support for labor, following political losses as a result of the Gingrich revolution in the GOP. Now the GOP is aiming at pick up the labor vote.
In other words, the demographics of the US are shifting politically in a way that challenges old stereotypes.

“Trump demonstrates one of the most critical parts of political change, the emergence of the populist right.”
There could be a populist left, but it is drowned out by wokery. There was a time when Democrats traditionally supported labor, while Republicans traditionally supported owners and big business. That distinction is now obsolete.
Today the basic divide is between [1] the citizenry and [2] the Uniparty (aka the permanent political class, aka the Swamp).
The Uniparty consists of all Democrats, plus all establishment RINO Republicans, plus the corporate media outlets, plus all federal bureaucracies. These collectively support and defend each other. They collectively see average Americans as an enemy.
Outside of this cesspool are MAGA Republicans and true conservatives (aka the “populist right”). The Uniparty wants to crush them.
Also outside of this cesspool are genuine populists on the left (e.g. JFK Jr., or Bernie Sanders as he was in 2016). The Uniparty wants to crush them too.
We see this same social structure in Europe. The ultra-corrupt Uniparty calls itself “moderates” and “centrists.” They are tyrannical, and they rig all elections to prevent democracy. Anyone who questions this evil, whether from the right or the left, is “an extremist threat to democracy.”
Separate from this dynamic are young woke liberals. They support Establishment Democrats, because young woke liberals are cowardly, frightened, and crippled by profound mental illness. They are unable to see how stupid and programmed they are, since they fancy themselves brilliant in every way. At universities they proudly have their heads pumped full of woke sewage, and afterward, if they are white, they spend decades chained to student loan debt. They know they will never be able to buy a house, and will never live as well as their parents did, and their despair drives their wokery.
They desperately hope that life will be better if they can just become woke enough. Maybe their despair will ease if they can just cancel other people enough, just grovel to blacks enough, just castrate white males enough, and just scream loudly enough. Maybe their anxiety will lessen if they undergo genital mutilation, or if they block traffic to protest “climate change,” or if they join BLM or Antifa and burn down cities to protest “white privilege.” But of course their cowardice just makes their despair worse and worse.
Back to the Uniparty, it has no ideology, and its members believe in nothing. Their only concern to steal as much money and power as possible in the little time they have left before the West collapses.
This rot happens at all levels: federal, state, and local. In urban centers run by Democrats, people get elected by telling locals that their problems are all caused by cops and white people. “Vote for me and I will set you FREE!” Free from white people! Free from the police!
Their policies destroy cities, and cause crime to explode, but no matter. Once they get into office, they serve the political mob, which rigs elections to keep them in office for life. Therefore cities get worse and worse. And still local politicians chant, “Vote for me and I will set you FREE!” Everyone knows they are liars, but everyone is too demoralized to do anything about it.
Political mobs are looting entire cities, just like “flash mobs” are looting retail stores and causing them to close down faster and faster.
Everyone understands all this, if only subconsciously. This is why Trump becomes more popular with every attack on him.
JFK Jr. could likewise become more popular, except the Uniparty deals with JFK Jr. via total silence and censorship. No attacks, no press coverage – nothing.
They won’t even protect RFK… want to see him assassinated…,
“They won’t even protect RFK… want to see him assassinated…”
Yes. Above, I accidentally called him JFK Jr three times.
If a candidate wants Secret Service protection he must ask the Homeland Security Secretary, or the US President, or his chief of staff.
Mayorkas doesn’t want to help RFK Jr. in any way, because if RFK Jr. becomes US president, then Mayorkas will be out of his (do-nothing) job. So Mayorkas says no Secret Service for Kennedy.
Mayorkas says that RFK Jr. is not a “major” candidate, and that it’s too far out from the actual campaign season (15 months before Election Day) even though Obama had Secret Service protection beginning 18 months before Election Day. (Obama had black privilege. )
As I wrote above, the Uniparty includes all current and former Democrats, plus all establishment RINO Republicans, plus all the corporate media outlets, plus the entire Washington swamp. The Uniparty is the permanent political class, plus all the parasitical staffers, bureaucrats, and myriad hangers-on.
All these are the Uniparty, and they all oppose RFK Jr. (and Trump) because the Uniparty doesn’t want any changes. Everyone wants to go on collecting his paycheck. Therefore everyone claims that RFK Jr. is not a “major candidate.” Their criteria for who qualifies as a “major candidate” is bullsh*t. Anyway Biden claims that political factors do not figure into the political factors behind his political decisions.
“They want to see him assassinated.”
Yes. Last week at a campaign event in Los Angeles, RFK Jr.’s private security team caught a man with a gun and a fake U.S. Marshals badge trying to get at Kennedy. The man claimed to be part of Kennedy’s security detail, and told staff that he had to see the candidate “immediately.”
Naturally the Los Angeles District Attorney's office declined to file felony charges.
In mid-July a man broke into Kennedy's home while he was out of town. He too was caught by Kennedy’s private security team. The man had a bizarre obsession with Kennedy, and had been arrested a year earlier trying to get at him.
Can Kennedy now have Secret Service protection? Nope. “Not a major candidate.”
So maybe the Uniparty does indeed want Kennedy assassinated. They are ignoring him as much as possible, and they are also looking for any possible dirt they can use against him if needed. (He’s a “racist.” He’s “anti-Semitic.” He raped his wife’s pet chihuahua in 1969. One of his six kids wore “black face” for a high school play. Whatever.)
Certainly Big Pharma wants him dead.
The Uniparty is putting every possible bureaucratic road block in front of him. RFK Jr. says he will probably have to end up running as an Independent or as a Libertarian.
I said that the Uniparty has no ideology. They just want to keep collecting their paychecks and their payoffs.
For example, San Francisco Mayor London Breed is proposing the city require all recipients of taxpayer-funded welfare money to undergo drug screening — and treatment, if needed — in order to be eligible for continued cash assistance.
“No more anything goes without accountability. No more handouts without accountability.”
This caused woke liberals to scream. Not because of ideology, but because of money. They skim from the river of cash that flows through the Homeless Industrial Complex. London Breed’s idea might reduce that money flow.
With the Uniparty, everything is about money and power. Ideological chatter is just window dressing. Chuck Schumer and Mitch McConnell practically sleep together in the same bed.
Trump, MAGA Republicans, and RFK Jr. represent potential change. The Uniparty must stop them. With change, someone in the swamp might lose his cushy job. And the peasants might start getting ideas that elections actually mean something.
The secret service is compromised. RFK Jr. and Trump are probably aware of this, but cannot comment publicly given the furor it would cause.
"The secret service is compromised. "
Of course. Just like the FBI, the DHS, the Capitol Hill Police, and every other part of the Uniparty, aka The Swamp.
Establishment Republicans and all Democrats are part of the Uniparty, as are the corporate media outets.
Throughout the entire West, the political divide is [1] the Uniparty, including all woke liberals, versus [2] everyone else.
