Until people realise where we are really headed nothing will change.
Yes, with advances in machine intelligence, authoritarian structures will be hard to overcome. Elites don't need growth to prosper.
Unless there is a major revolution in the next 20 years my only concern is this. What do the elites want for us? Keep us for essential maintenance, personal service and entertainment I imagine. Shagging the good looking ones, laughing at the funny ones. We will get more expendable as their power grows.
I'll be too old, my kids will suffer.
