Hillary won 6,238 votes. Total. Sanders won 5,589.
A difference of 649 people. This was no overwhelming victory for Hillary.
120,000+ Dems showed up in 2008 to caucus, 10X as much. Sanders didn’t have a ground game in Nevada until 15 weeks ago, unlike Obama in 2008, and the unions (like the powerful Culinary Union) refused to endorse a candidate.
One the other hand, Trump won 239,851 votes in the SC Primary.
No comparison, but the Clinton campaign is going to polish this turd unless journalists point this out by Super Tuesday.
Or, the Sanders people point this out. There are 3 million people in the state, and 40% of them are Democratic.
I mean, 300,000 show up on the Strip to celebrate New Year’s Eve, the equivalent of showing up to watch the ball drop in Times Square. This doesn’t include those who are inside the casinos.
This super-delegate crap again? LOL, call rigged primaries. It has been chosen already: "Hillary will be the official democrat nominee, don't panic!" says the Democrat establishment.
The GOP clown-house is more transparent and democratic than the Democratic party crony-house.
Rubio's a neocon, he even uses the phrase "A new American century" which should send chills down everyone's spine.. I can't see Trump being as bad as another neocon presidency.
DNC has rigged to the best of its ability a Clinton win. Sanders won't overcome the odds unless Hillary gets indicted, which she should be if we had a functioning justice system.
With Bush gone on the GOP side I imagine Rubio will be the beneficiary. The real wild card is Cruz. Once he is disposed of will he endorse Rubio or Trump? He will likely be GOP king maker. Watch closely.
Yeah but all Trump needs to do is come out and say "Cruz is one of the smartest guys I know and you know..... he would be the greatest VP ever. And after my two amazing terms are over he'd get the job in a landslide" all would be forgotten.

It's Trump's time. It's Clinton's time.
Not so fast. Rubio is very much in the running and is now likely to emerge at the not-Trump candidates that attracts the big bucks.
Matt Yglesias, Why I'm more worried about Marco Rubio than Donald Trump
Nah, Tom. it's Trump easy.. Hillary will be the one sweating from here on out.
Betting odds are overwhelmingly on HRC on the Dem side and solidly in favor of Trump over Rubio on the GOP side.

Random,
MRW, superdelegates
They said the same thing about Hillary in 2008.
I’m talking about how the win is going to be interpreted currently by the voters in the 46 states left to vote.

Cruz could make a deal with Trump for VP. That would knock Rubio out of the race.
That's true, Tom, but Trump has been extremely critical of Cruz, calling him the worst liar he's seen. Not sure how that fence can be mended.
.....I'd so like to see a Trump vs Clinton showdown. Would be the best US political theater ever.

Right.
Trump might even make a joke of it and say he made Teddie wash his mouth out with soap.
Trump should pick a woman VP. That would give Hillary a run for her money.
