James Petras once said in a YouTube video that he would have the government run everything except the small restaurants. These family run businesses do a superb job he said. I instantly liked James Petras after that. I got his point. He really means a mixed economy, the government can do lot of things better than the private sector can. Public transport; post service; health services; communications, but not handsets; possibly some public banking, and most certainly pensions. Just keep the private sector out of your pension, they're steal it.
