Arkady Savitsky — ‘It’s the Economy, Stupid’: What Really Drives US Sanctions Against Russia

The perception in Russia and China ab0ut US sanctions is that US policy is based on the assumption that to keep America rich and in the drivers seat of the global economy countries must be kept poor. They view sanctions as anti-competitive, designed to perpetuate American monopolies.

Thus, the State Department must now be considered a party to triggering violent religious strife that will soon grip Ukraine and cause a split in the Orthodox world rivaling even the Great Schism between Orthodoxy and Roman Catholicism that took place in 1054….

What really drives U.S. sanctions against Russia

The article explains that sanctions are part of the U.S. corporate war on foreign competitors.

“The U.S. praises free markets as long as U.S. monopolies are preserved.”

Neoliberalism is all about praising “free markets” while creating monopolies that destroy free markets. When neoliberals pay politicians to crush the neoliberals' competitors, it is called “market-based economics.”

“The emergence of competitors makes America forget its principles and shift to protectionist policy.”

America never forgets its principles, which is to widen the gap between the rich and the rest.

“International agreements and the rules of WTO become immediately forgotten.”

Not “forgotten"; ignored. The USA, like Israel, only honors its promises and agreements as long as it is advantageous for the USA or Israel to do so.

“Bullshit. Everyone but me is an idiot and an art major. Take a history lesson. No one died in either world war.” ~ Franko

For US, Meddling in Orthodox Church Affairs Is Just Another Tool Against Russia.

Large organized churches are key dispensers of state propaganda. They help governments to control and enslave the masses. Hence the USA is trying to separate the Orthodox Church in Ukraine from the Orthodox Church in Russia.

Large organized churches are also paid by the rich to help maintain the gap between the rich and the rest. This is why the USSR outlawed churches.

Large organized churches are always political, and they always side with whoever has power in society. This is why the Catholic Church signed the Reichskonkordat (i.e. alliance) with National Socialist Germany.

(National Socialist Germany left churches alone, as long as they did not get involved in politics. If clergymen became spies and saboteurs for the Allies, then clergymen could be imprisoned or executed -- e.g. Dietrich Bonhoeffer, who was hanged for his crimes.)

“The U.S. State Department must now be considered a party to triggering violent religious strife that will soon grip Ukraine and cause a split in the Orthodox world rivaling even the Great Schism between Orthodoxy and Roman Catholicism that took place in 1054.”

Such schisms are always political. Indeed, all wars are political, meaning they are all struggles for power (or for freedom from others’ power). In some wars, the aggressors use religious dogma to camouflage their evil. Many people stupidly fall for this mumbo-jumbo, and hence believe that “religious” wars are actually about religion.

In 1534, England’s King Henry VIII broke from the Catholic Church and created the Church of England. As always, this was about politics, not religious dogma.

“ No one died in either world war.”

The point is rather that war deaths have been drastically reduced since ww2 thru development of precision strike and increased intelligence capabilities...

You should really ask for all your tuition to be refunded.... I’ll vouch for you if you need a witness...
