Trump addressed a rally that was 4 miles from the capitol building. Try getting your facts straight.

Distance is not what it used to be with everyone watching on their devices.

BTW, FDR, Hitler and Mussolini all used the new technology of their time, radio, to deliver their message to the masses and they were considered masters of that medium.

Television amplified that and now the Internet and social media and social media have extended it further.

But it was the radio that enabled mass persuasion/propaganda by shrinking distance.

Previous to that it was largely oratory delivered to a mob on site, which, of course, greatly limited reach.

It can be argued that DJT combined these in the case of the Capitol incident.

It was supposed to be a 1 hour speech, but Trump took an extra 10 minutes to finish it. A push against the barricades had begun prior to those 10 minutes. Add another 30 minutes for the audience to walk the distance to the capitol building. By then the 'storming' was well underway. Good luck finding the orange idiot responsible for that debacle.
