Why are you giving this guy more attention than he receives inside Russia?
MNE audience are hopefully free of MSM narratives.
The is not only about Navalny or even mostly about him. It is about how Russia works on the inside and where Russian politics is headed — toward the Stavka rather than a Western-like liberal regime. It's also about how all "democracies" are actually oligarchies (as Aristotle noted).
