I used to have at least a little respect for SB for taking on the administrative state, but he has really gone off the rails.

For a lot of Republicans, we'd rather see nothing done than a slate of Dem priorities. Similar to how Democratic party tries to hurt the broader economy and States that support GOP when GOP is in power. Within a week of uncle Joe taking office, he put ALL Texas infrastructure projects on hold pending review because climate and racism. Highway projects, bridges under construction, halted for 4-8yrs.. Goofy, but I think the general concept is "The beatings will continue until morale improves."

From a UK perspective we find the fact that you don't expect that mildly amusing.

Hung legislatures don't work shocker. Who knew.

The GOP would always rather see nothing done unless it involves tax cuts for the rich and deregulation for corporate business, mainly in the fossil fuel sector. That's just who they are.

Blaming racism is disingenuous.

Well like Tom said he has exhibited a less partisan more populist bent of late…

But here he is just doing the old switcheroo and wanting to torpedo Democrat initiatives and create economic chaos going into next years mid terms… this is typical partisan behavior…

I think these guys are all short CCP China and want a more China confrontational us government…

(Shorts might be paying off lately)

A big problem confronting the US is politicizing the stupid — in addition to being a disinformation factory, for which we can thank the intel services and also Rupert Murdoch for showing how the tabloid press approach is economically superior in the info-entertainment industry, which American "news" has becomes. And it is bipartisan. Bannon just happens to be on the right.

If it were to his tactical advantage, Bannon would be pushing MMT. The ends justify the means.
