Vaccines have saved over 275,000 lives and prevented over a million hospitalisations
Almost half of Americans are unvaccinated. They make up 97% of hospitalisations and 99.92% of deaths. These preventable hospitalisations are burden to taxpayer.
The unvaxxed are taking up hospital beds that could be used for other ppl, many of whom are very ill. In many cases, very ill people are having their treatment postponed.
"My body, choice" -
Many of these people who refused to wear masks or practice social distancing go on to say that lockdowns harm the economy, and yet they made the pandemic much worse.
SARS-CoV-2 Delta variant, also known as lineage B.1.617.2, is a variant of lineage B.1.617 of SARS-CoV-2, which causes COVID. It was first detected in India in late 2020. The World Health Organization (WHO) named it the Delta variant on 31 May 2021.
What’s different about DELTA Variant Patients?
The delta variant is almost like a whole new COVID virus, as it behaves very differently from the previous COVID strains. It has at least three mutations on its spike protein, and more specifically, on its receptor-binding domain. That’s the part of the spike protein that binds to the ACE2 receptor on the cells in your body. The delta variant’s mutations help it bind to the ACE2 receptor more efficiently and allow the virus to enter the cell more easily. Also, its mutations allow it to better evade the body’s immune system.
A covid denier.

Utter religious nonsense.
Once a person has had the vaccine, there is nothing more we can do and the best 'vaccine' at that point is to catch the virus as a booster to give sterilising natural immunity with the vaccine reducing the symptoms to that of a bad cold.
Those people still wandering around cowering, or refusing to take the vaccine, are making the issue run on longer than it needs to. It's become a religious position, not a scientific one. Those sorts of people are two cheeks of the same backside - fanatics with no grasp of science.
Neil the whole thing has been politicized from day 1…
In my state their are 4x the people currently hospitalized this year vs last year and last year all you heard was “we don’t want the hospitals to get too crowded!” so they shut everything down…. This year at 4x it’s crickets…
Those people still wandering around cowering, or refusing to take the vaccine,... NeilW
What about those who've already had Covid? Don't they count as vaccinated? And might not their immunity be superior to a narrowly focused (i.e. on the "spike") vaccine?
Not that I necessarily recommend against getting vaccinated but some got Covid before vaccines were available.
Those who have natural immunity recognize Delta and other variants. They were exposed to the entire virus, including "genuine" spike proteins.
Perhaps the traditional vaccines are also superior to the over-hyped mRNA gene therapy. Israel is in the mess they're in, thanks to the Pfizer product.
Another example of the "free" market working for you.
Israel was just unlucky, in that they chose the wrong vaccine. The Pfizer is the first vaccine to start to poop out over time. Pfizer used a much smaller dose from the start to lessen chance of vaccine related side effects.
Add Alberta to the unlucky list.
There's no such thing as a free market with a government privileges for private credit creation.
And that's the way that elitists like Neil like it.
Except elitism does not trump justice, Neil - which you'd know if you had read the Old Testament.
Mostly Republican Party voters who're killing themselves off isn't it? The ones with out Art College degrees;-)
Around 1,700 covid deaths in the U.S. yesterday.
Nearly all deaths would have been preventable if they were vaccinated.
A lot of death-wishers in the states. Reminds me of the death-wishers in the province of Alberta.
Nearly all deaths would have been preventable if the ageing process were halted or reversed. Develop a vaccine that can do that, and I'll take it!
The difference in vax rates between Alberta and Nova Scotia is 6%.
Reminds me of the death-wishers in the province of Alberta.
We're getting rid of our stupid people. The average IQ in Alberta is rising as we speak.
Ditto for the US...
“In case anyone is curious,” says American astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, “right now in the USA, every ten days, more than 8,000 unvaccinated Republican voters are dying of Covid-19. That’s five times the rate for Democrats.”
