@Netbacker Scott Fullwiler used to keep an updated chart, not sure if he still does. It's also available on Fred but takes about 6 months to update, last update was Q3 2013.
If you take the three sector FRED chart, change it to a bar chart, put on normal stack and then negate the current account balance, it will start to look familiar.
FRED is just so much better than the ONS for data access.
1. Are these balances available at the treasury in an easily understood format? Or is this something that you spend valuable drinking time putting together?
2. Do you know if the UK Treasury publishes something akin to the US Daily Treasury Statement?
Cheers.
PS. Are the waters starting to ebb away in your neck of the woods? Keep dry!

My pad is on the top of a slope, on the lea side (which is the side away from the wind). My uphill patio is essentially a massive french drain with a porous surface.
Stay away from water courses and give the water somewhere to go has been my rule for years. It's the poor sods in the bottom of river valleys that have caught it full in the face.
The water there has receded, but the sticky mud remains. Lots of people face ruin. It's heartbreaking.

Does someone update the ones for the USA as well? We only have it up to 2012.

Fred 3-sector chart
Fred private accounts broken into household vs. business
Neil, thank you for the awesome UK charts. :-)
Oops meant to say last Fred update was Q3 2015, not 2013.
Thanks Dan.
I'll look into these FRED charts.

Neil,
Two questions.
1. Are these balances available at the treasury in an easily understood format? Or is this something that you spend valuable drinking time putting together?
2. Do you know if the UK Treasury publishes something akin to the US Daily Treasury Statement?

Silly me, just noticed the sources at the bottom!
Obviously, then, that means you put the balances together in a more easily striking and understood visual way.
