Interestingly, profit in the Bible is good but profit taking and usury aren't - except from foreigners.
Also, property rights were not unlimited, e.g. gleaners had access to agricultural fields. Nor could a few acquire all the land because of redemption rights and the 50 year Jubilee.

Seems to be opposed to making profit, as in accumulating shekels.
Not making profit, taking profit - as in taking assets from a company in the form of dividends or interest.
Owners/kings/lords are allowed to take profit in those forms. When the Bible was written, what kind of economic system did they have?
Those are called taxes and should be used for the common welfare.
