Synoia — Saving Europe with MMT, or as goes Europe, goes the World...

The votes in Europe were protest votes by the people, for parties who do not embrace the “neo-liberal” consensus. In the current political climate, this may have often devolved into a vote for the neo-fascist parties, but it is not an indication that people are accepting fascism. What they are doing is DEMANDING an alternative. The mainstream parties need to learn the lesson quickly, because there will be an accounting if they don't. Note that any country which does not control its currency is not sovereign. It is depending on some other entity for its medium of exchange. This is frequently unwise, and is always an indication of subjection and dependence.

So the so called “far-right” is “neo-fascist”? Hilarious. It’s nowhere near as fascist as the political left.

One element of fascism is arresting your political opponents, and Marine LePen (head of France’s “far right” Front National) has been stripped of the legal immunity that being a member of the European parliament normally confers. Clearly lefties in that parliament intend having her arrested.

And Nick Griffin, head of the British “far right” British National Party was arrested and put on trial ten years ago for speaking the truth about Asian grooming: now generally accepted as a problem.

Another element of fasicism as per dictionary definition is “militarism”. Now Britain’s left of centre Labour Party took the country war in Iraq, whereas Britain’s two “far right” parties (UKIP and the BNP) opposed the war from day one.

Exactly.... and the hypocritical thing is that these people are all libertarians of some flavor, who think they are rejecting subjection in general... who are allegedly antagonistic to authority...

So they are so stupid that they cannot see that they not only are advocating for our human subjection, they are advocating for our subjection to non-human authority (gold, silver, "debt to gdp" ratios, drugs, "free markets", "capital", etc you name it...). How low can you go? How blind can one be?

"All is allowed me, but not all is expedient. All is allowed me, but I will not be put under its authority by anything." 1 Cor 6:12

These disgraced morons among us, who have somehow usurped possession of our majesterial positions, have the rest of us under the authority of "all" (panta) for going on 2,000 years now... Hopefully we are in the midst of witnessing their era of rule coming to an end...

All human behavior is ultimately circular, Ralph, and a circle has no end.

You go far enough either "left" or "right" and the two always intermingle. :)

Scratch a liberal, and you get a conservative.

Poke a conservative on the right issue, and you get a liberal.

Mix any instantaneous spectrum of ideologies, and you get what passes for a human culture.

Matt - Put the crack pipe down. Can you explain to me in plain English the meaning of your above statement?

Roger - Dead on! The NAZI Party had a left and right wing some of which was purged in order to be merged.
