It will interesting to watch the polling on how Americans relate to this. The US establishment might get a surprise. That would be a surprise for the world, too.
- President Trump, in a raucous press conference, again blamed "both sides" for deadly violence in Charlottesville
- He attacked business leaders who quit a White House panel over Trump's message on the weekend incident
- Trump combines indifference to conventional notions of morality or propriety with disbelief that others would be motivated by them
This has the potential for being a game changer. We'll see. I don't see this ending soon.

Donald Trump has a very clear attitude about morality: He doesn't believe in it

Seems like the big outsourcers to low wage nations used this as an opportunity to get out of it...
Trump may indeed lack morals, but I partly agree with Trump that "both sides" are at fault. What is the purpose of a "counter-protest" other than to start a fight? Whose mind do they think they will change by calling people names and disrupting their event?
Remember last year when "counter-protesters" attacked a KKK rally in Anaheim?
Martin Luther King never "counter-protested." The Black Panthers formed an alliance with a Confederate group. I question both the morality and the effectiveness of "counter-protesting."
Apparently Trump is supposed to hate the "Unite the Right" protesters more? In other words, the problem with Trump is that he does not hate enough? He should hate more people, and hate them harder?
Martin Luther King is spinning in his grave.

Photo of ‘Antifa’ man assaulting officer was doctored, analysis shows
Joshua Barajas
An image that appeared to capture a member of an anti-fascist group beating a U.S. police officer with a club during a “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, is fake.
The doctored photograph, the Associated Press and Snopes.com found, turned out to be a Getty Image shot in 2009 during clashes between police officers and protesters in Athens, Greece. An “Antifa,” or “antifacist,” logo was digitally superimposed onto the jacket of a protester, who is seen attacking an officer with a blunt object.
