Spengler — Western contempt for China turns to panic

Interesting article by a American economist on the Chinese economy, showing how most US economists misread events there.

Goldman is on the side of the US maintaining hegemony but his analysis shows how and why this is just wishful thinking if the current trend persists, and there is not much the US can do about it without confronting the Thyudicides trap.

If only we could turn back the time to before the US invaded Iraq? Did they have any idea how much pain and destruction they were going to unleash and how this was going to spread crazed Jihadist looking for the spoils of was all across the ME? But we learn how the ruling elite would like to send theses Jihadists into Russia and China. Just think how many people would die if that were to happen? The Western ruling elite are barking mad and how evil can they be?

A lot of them don't care about global warming either or anything else about the environment. Then they got the economists to say greed is good so they could carry on with their exceptional greedy ways. Desire is pain, say the Buddhist ancients.
