Thiel is a total idiot. Whenever I hear that guy talk it's hard to believe he has any money at all. His new company, Palentir, is being successfully driven to the ground from his stupid direction. He bought gold with the company's funds to prepare for a "black swan event." What kind of business model is that? Buffett is worth $125 bln. He's been around for a long time through all kinds of market environments. Thiel should just STFU at this point.
