"and the critical importance of monetary gold reserves as Russia’s ultimate asset,"

Do you want to tell them, or shall I?

:-)

When you don’t have mature institutions you have to rely on real material as “money”…

Former Soviet components Russia and Ukraine in their current institutional definitions are still embryonic… btw currently like two children fighting over toys,,,

UK/US/EU have more mature institutional conditions…

Canada has grown wealthy over the years, and it wasn't due to gold alone. Russia can do the same.

They just were created out of former Soviet Union like 25 years ago that is not a very long time in institutional development…

Israel is bombing Syria's capital Damascus

There is the Middle East angle after Turkey attacked Northern Iraq.

Because Israel is bombing Syria right now that means every American liberal will add the Syrian flag to their bio & Israeli athletes will be banned from international competition. Right?

Foot, no invasion/land grab… doesn’t count… still respecting territorial borders…

Look for more of this as Russia remains preoccupied in Ukraine…

I'm sure there will be.

Ukraine are also now trying to bring Moldova into the war. Transnistria is one of the areas that I was on about that are the same as Donesk and Lugansk but in Moldova.

Turkey and the West don't know the meaning of the word borders.

They are called liberations not invasions when they are involved.

George Orwell would have had a stroke by now.

Also in Abkhazia in Georgia.

All the Baltic states have these areas like Donesk and Lugansk.

Why warehouses in Kolbasna are so important — it is the largest arsenal in Europe.

▫️Created in the 1940s.

The warehouses contain the arsenal of the 14th Guards Combined Arms Army of the USSR, weapons and ammunition from the GDR and Czechoslovakia.

For 2000 - about 42,000 tons of weapons and ammunition.

From 2000 to 2004, according to the Istanbul agreements, more than 20 thousand tons of ammunition were removed or destroyed on the spot.

The arsenal today is more than 20 thousand tons of artillery ammunition, infantry ammunition, and other military equipment.

▫️Experts' opinion – the amount of ammunition is enough for decades of war.

The detonation of the arsenal will be equal to the nuclear bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.

Warehouses under the protection of the operational group of Russian troops and the military of Transnistria.

Here's what you don't hear about

On April 26 at 11:00 a.m., a Kalibr cruise missile hit a secret neo-Nazi training center disguised on the territory of the Zaporozhye aluminum plant.

Up to 1,500 militants were trained on its territory under the leadership of 60 British mercenaries, as well as British SAS troops. The fact of the attack is carefully concealed by the Ukrainian intelligence agency.

A cyberattack carried out by Russia on the servers of healthcare institutions in the Zaporozhye region made it possible to collect information on the number of those killed and wounded.

So far 523 killed and 347 wounded.

I'm going to take a guess and say the next time the official figures are released and going by the number of dead Ukrainians you see on night visions sitereps.

Ukraine deaths will be closer to 50,000 than 30,000 after the 24,000 killed by the end of March. The number surrendered will be in 1000's instead of hundreds.

Russia has lost roughly 1,800 by the end of March will be a shock if that has reached 3,000 by end of the month.

That was being outnumbered by 2 to 1 as well.

If the US military had waged this campaign, what would the death toll be like?
