Germany supplies tanks to Ukraine and prepares for war against Russia

This is just Germany… Once the west gets enough material tonnage in there it’s going to be over… WW2 redux… bullish western arms industry… then there’s going to be the provisioning of the new iron curtain around Russia…  if Putin survives this we’ll probably have a $1T Defense appropriation next year… potential goldmine somewhat already is…

The planned shipments are massive. According to the Süddeutsche Zeitung, the government’s list of weapons includes “about 200 products.” These included 2,650 Matador-type anti-tank weapons and 18 reconnaissance drones, “which could be delivered immediately.” Other items included mortars, machine guns, 3,000 night vision devices, several thousand protective vests and helmets, eight ground monitoring radar devices, airspace monitoring systems and “unprotected and protected vehicles, from touring coaches to armoured off-road vehicles.”

But how are the Germans going to pay for all that?

They don't even pay their gas bill...

They have a new guy born in West Germany and got rid of the commie glorified house frau Merkel who was East German…

So the new guy has said they are simply going to spend a lot more on defense and perhaps let the deficit increase if that’s what happens…

Merkel and Putin both old Soviet era commies so she never saw this…

As analysts have observed, Russia has not touched civilian infrastructure in Ukraine so far, only military — although Komolski's oil refinery was attacked after Ukrainain helicopters attacked a fuel depot in Russia. Komolski financed the neo-Nazis and also Zelensky. However, an oil refinery is arguably a military target, and its storage facilities are certainly a military target.

To move that equipment it has to be transported from Poland to Eastern Ukraine. Russian forces have left the roads, bridges, and railways alone so far. Even trains are funning from Poland to Kiev. That is likely to change.

After destruction of transportation infrastructure the materials have to be transported across the wide open spaces of central Ukraine.

Send them in by air? Airports are needed to land planes and airports are easily destroyed by missiles. And aircraft can be shot down, which is a legitimate target of war as soon as they are in Ukrainian air space.

The problem is that the US and UK want the war widened but not to the point of engaging NATO so that the US and UK would be directly involved militarily. They want a proxy war in which others bear the brunt.

Germany can't afford the rising energy prices and they are at Russia's mercy to continue deliveries or German industry collapses. Moreover, they cannot afford to ramp up military expenditures without it affecting domestic spending. Combine rising inflation with lower social spending and see what happens. German business is already signaling the government that a revolution is possible.

The war will be for all intents and purposes over in three weeks, if the Ukrainian Government continues in its idiocy and inhumanity towards its troops. The Donbass "cauldrons" are about to be the site of massive killing of Ukrainian troops, even as the Russian casualty ratio drops. It is one thing to say, correctly, that Russia has been dong everything it can to protect civilians, but some 30k to 60k Ukrainian soldiers (depending on how many frag their Azov "political commissars" and go home) are likely to be slaughtered. Zelensky could have caused many greater problems for the Russians, had he said: "drop your arms and go home - invest your home towns and live to fight another day." Then it would have been almost impossible to "demilitarize or even de-NAZIfy" (I support the latter) the Ukraine. Instead, to protect himself, Zelensky has allowed a war to the death, and promoted a nationalistic orgy of violence. And in punishment, Russia may seize a large area than originally planned. Who speaks for the young men (and some women) who are about to be slaughtered because of their government's cowardly intransigence? I guess the lives of young Ukrainian men do not matter.

Add another country to those that have already been laid waste in order to further US/UK (imperial) objectives.

Ukrainian fertility rate - 1.4

More dead young Ukrainians means a higher aged dependency ratio in the future. Whose going to take care of old Ukrainians?

@Ahmed

That depends on their culture.
