"China doesn't want war" yet Ritter is saying they'll invade because of a line in their constitution.
You go to war as a last resort. It took 8 years and 13-14 thousand dead for Moscow to act.
Complex civilization my ass.
China is an inhumane, authoritarian state just like all the other nation states that have carved up the surface of this planet. Territorial sovereignty is more important to the ruling class than an infinite number of lives. All these flowery pronouncements about the right to self-determination, respect for human rights, etc... nothing but pretentious BS.
When the shoe is on the other foot, Turks would kill every last Kurd, Serbs would kill every last Kosovan, and China would kill every last Tibetan, simply to hold onto their territory, and by extension, their power. The "sanctity" of human life doesn't enter into the equation.
