Kids, parents & teachers can go to jail for cheating on K-12 school tests, or failing to pay college tuition loans ... but what the uber crooks do isn't illegal? Or not enforceable?

Why? Because stopping their wrongs would supposedly cause greater wrongs? BULLSHIT!!

It's past time for J&J Sixpack to tackle White Collar Crime head on. Before we effectively get an "Equal Looting Rights Act" jammed down our throats. The only rate of interest that matters is our own rate of interest in what's being foisted on us.

If you let the 3 Control Fraud figures below shuffle your future options around among their 3 dunce caps, you're going to lose just by paying to watch the crime. The only sane thing to do is to NOT allow them to operate. If you don't participate, they'll just rob your neighbor, then your kids, and then your supposed retirement savings. Guess what, once they've already stolen your Congress & Constitutional rights, your retirement savings aren't as secure or as valuable as your former privacy was.

So, the only thing we need to keep under control is our electorate's passivity.  Too much of nothing is not a good thing.

We've now become accomplices to our own crimes against ourselves. Isn't mass suicide illegal too?

The following line was especially encouraging:

David Brat: “The crooks up on Wall Street and some of the big banks — I'm pro-business, I'm just talking about the crooks — they didn't go to jail, they are on Eric [Cantor]'s Rolodex."

Of course, the Wall St Journal took Cantor's side, big time.

"A great deal of time and money is about to be spent trying to prove Mr. Cantor's primary loss in Virginia's Seventh district had nothing to do with immigration."

(Curiously, from the WSJ, no mention at all of sheltering financial frauds, nor Cantor's links to that track record.)

And the main lesson Peggy Noonan draws from voters rejecting Cantor?

"Some lessons of the loss: No one should be in party leadership who isn't from a very safe seat."
No wonder our democracy is so screwed up. Too many consultants preaching methods for these 2 gangs to maintain control, instead of listening to consensus views on national, Desired Outcomes, and then earning their paychecks by helping to figure out how to help our electorate achieve it's desires.

Only question? When are Californian's gonna wise up & dump Nancy Peolosi too? How about some pols who weren't born with silver spoons conveniently placed in their nether regions?

You want a political representative who understands and cares about your needs? Try voting for one who ISN'T a millionaire.

No it's not Jamie Dimon or Lloyd Blankfein or anyone from Bank of America or HSBC. It's Real Housewives' stars Joe and Theresa Giudice. The both took a plea and one of them (probably Joe) will be spending the next 3-4 years in jail.

For fraud.

Now please square that in your head against the massive, decade-long (or longer) frauds, money laundering and illegal market manipulations of the major banks--WHO ADMITTED TO THESE THINGS.

Not a single banker is going to jail, but a couple of two-bit reality TV stars? Yep, they're getting locked up.

This is so laughably clever (of savant insiders) that it's obviously dumb (to outsiders).

"Can't see the wisdom for the cleverage." That's my new mantra. I'm referring to group-wisdom vs individual-cleverness of course. Those two concepts work on entirely different levels. The first may not be either detectable or decipherable to the latter, no matter how heroic the intellect or work ethic combined in any given individual. No more so than one human neuron can perceive what a human CNS collectively can.

ps: Didn't Lew Platt of HP once say that “If HP knew what HP knows, we would be three times as profitable.” So why can't the human species know what the human species knows? Wouldn't WE be far more than just 3x better off for it? What part of social doesn't our supposedly advanced species yet understand?

If none of us are as smart as all of us, then it's surely also true that mistrusting any of us is never as dangerous as mistrusting all of us? To paraphrase, trusting only some of us is never as adaptive as trusting all of us simultaneously? There's safety in group transparency and group knowledge?
