Bob, quite right. The US may have supported the slaughter of the Kurds in Turkey, and elsewhere for that matter. But Turkey didn't have to do it. A degree of autonomy, even treating the Kurds like human beings, would have ended any thought of violence by nearly all of the Kurdish groups.

It is as much Turkey's fault as the US. They have chosen to repress their Kurdish minority.
