Less than a week after the billionaire’s election, the Kremlin said Putin called Trump yesterday to begin negotiations over how best to tackle to terrorism.
The Russian is reported to have said he is ready for dialogue with the US “on the basis of mutual respect, non-intervention into each other’s internal affairs”.
According to the news agency Kremlin, Putin and Trump have agreed to “work to channel bilateral relationships into constructive cooperation, to combine efforts to tackle international terrorism and extremism, and to continue contact by telephone and to work towards meeting in person”.

He better not make John Bolton SOS. Would ruin the Trump Putin vibe for good.
Neocon Mal.... now talk is Rudy for SOS...
Could be a nascent pullback in zionist stuff starting to develop in all of this...
Trump's revised campaign slogan:
Drain the swamp and refill it with Republican Party Washington insiders!
TRUMP AND PENCE: Hope and Change
Trump: Change You Better Get Used To Or Have Your Shrink Up Your Meds If All Else Fails.
Neocon Mal.... now talk is Rudy for SOS...
Theh scuttlebutt is that the two top contenders for SOS are Guliani and Bolton and Trump is leaning toward Guliani, but it looks like Bolton will have a place somewhere in the Trump administration. Defense is being rumored but there seem to be stronger contenders for that.
There are numerous recalcitrant Washington Insiders who've been tared and feathered by the neocon Republican Establishment for not going along with the anti Trump program. Anyone willing to sign on to his cabinet will be likewise vilified/excoriated. Trojan Horses will have a devil of a time working for two separate agendas. The fear form the outside is much ado about nothing. It isn't Trump's first rodeo assembling a lager team.
imo Trump sees the real threat originating in Iran...
Trump: "we attacked the wrong country..."
Begs the question which one was "the right country"?
Next time the U.S. attacks another country, as in commits acts of war, I hope Congress is asked to declare war, as empowered to in the constitution.

President Obama promises "enormous continuity" on foreign policy, under his successor'
plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose?
By the time Trump is sworn in: Iraqi forces will be mopping up ISIS remnants in Mosul and surrounds; Kurdish forces will have taken out ISIS capital, al-Raqqa, and surrounds; and Turkish-backed Syrian rebel forces will have taken al-Bab and surrounds. The Russians are needed for what???
Russia and best-buddy Assad will still be barrel bombing and starving civilians in Aleppo and Homs because they can't move against populist forces on the ground.
In the aftermath of their victories, the delicate explosive political mix of the successful American-back forces will determine what happens longer-term in Iraq and eastern/northern Syria. Obama might have had a good chance of threading this delicate balance and get something in Iraq a lot more stable than what Bush/Malaki left behind.
Trump sucking up to Putin almost guarantees the Russian/Assad mess around Aleppo will metastasis and another decade of chaos throughout the region.
