Pew: Americans Say Obama is a "Good Man" Who is "Incompetent"

The American people are correct in their observations again, as usual.  Who said democracy doesn't work...

Results discussed here at Reason Magazine (FD: I chuckle every time I read the title of this magazine)

Although I think it unfair to single out or only criticize Barack Obama for being incompetent he has the unanimous company of all current economic policymakers in these people's "Good and Incompetent Club".

Its not good enough to be only good, you need to be good AND competent.

This kind of poll seems crude, since people are only allowed to choose one word.

If people had been allowed to choose three words, for example, what percentage would have selected both "good" and "incompetent". I suspect a small number.

Well Dan maybe look at it as most either think he is either good or incompetent. ...

I think he is both... but I also believe I am knowing more about what our true economic options are than virtually all other Americans. .. present company of course excepted... but there still are very few of us compared to US population. . Rsp

It's looking like the competent people are excluded by design.

Michael Hudson has said that the way to exclude yourself from consideration for a position in central banking is to actually understand it.
